Nikki McWilliams - Biscuit Wedding 2016 - Tissue Poms for days

It’s no secret that I’ve probably been neglecting my blog a bit lately (my last update was in February!) and I thought it was about time that I shared the reason why.

In a month’s time, we’re getting married! Mr Biscuit proposed to me back in August last year, and we decided to jump in and start organising our wedding for 2016. We havn’t had a super long stretch of planning (although I can see now why folks set a date 2 years in advance as there’s SO MUCH TO DO) but we’ve had a lot of fun deciding on the kind of day we want to have and using our creativity to make it happen.

The main reason that I’m writing this today though, is to let you know that I’m probably going to be AWOB (that’s Absent WithOut blogging, don’t you know) for a little bit longer.

Running a business is all consuming- and one of my favourite parts of that is sharing it all with you via social media. In the last few weeks in the run up to the day (it’s the 28th of May, by the way) I know that I’m going to have to spend a little bit of time away from the business- giving wedding prep the attention that it deserves.

And I want to take time enjoy it all too- we’re only planning on doing this once and I know that it’s probably going to wizz past in the blink of an eye. The last 8 months have been the fastest ever!

So I wanted to give you a heads up: our shop will remain open at www.nikkimcwilliams.com and orders will be going out as usual. I’ll still be posting to instagram and I’m currently organising some exciting takeovers, to help us celebrate our forthcoming nuptials in the only way we know how- with biscuits and a rainbow of colour!

If you want to follow along in our adventures over the next few weeks, i’ll be using #biscuitwedding to tag our celebration related posts. You can also follow me on Periscope and Snapchat- I’m nikkimcwilliams over there.

I promise that normal, biscuity service, will resume as soon as we’re back from honeymoon in Paris and Berlin in the first week of June.

Happy Dunking, friends!
