It’s been over a month since we hosted our very first Favourite Things jewellery workshop in London- and while i’ve tried to make time for blogging (alongside doing all of the things) life has been busy and sometimes that’s just the way it goes. Better late than never, eh? Rachel McNeil came along to London with us for Blogtacular and took these gorgeous photos of our workshop the next day at West Elm.
Rachel, Kim and I worked together to design the cutest acrylic charms and an awesome printed goodie bag pouch for our workshoppers. The charm designs were based on some of our favourite things, which included little colourful cat faces, trainers, coffee cups and of course…some biscuits too!
We set up at West Elm on the morning of the 11th of June- for our lovely workshoppers to arrive at noon. We had the best bunch of peeps in attendance- after doing a quick demo we all got to work choosing our charms, munching on Honeywell Bakes cookies and making our new jewellery.
Two hours seemed to fly by- and before we knew it our clever workshoppers had each made their very own necklace or charm bracelet adorned with their favourite things. I think the thing that I loved most about this workshop was how different everyone’s end product was. It was lovely to see folks’ personality really shine through!
We’ve had lots of you asking about future workshop dates- if you’re interested in attending- pop your name on our list and we’ll keep you up to date with our news.
Thank you again to everyone who came along and made our first workshop as a trio (that’s OhNoFinestBiscuit, btw) such fun, and to Rachel for the super awesome photographs of it all.
