Let’s Hear it for the Boys: Festive Gift Guide 2011

One of the reasons that I love taking my work to shows and fairs is the fact that it’s a great opportunity to speak to my customers and get their feedback on my designs. One thing that stood out at the Ideal Home Show was that lots of folks were buying my Bourbon Cushions as gifts for the boys in their lives!

So- I’ve decided to put together a gift guide of things that would make great presents for your special chap this Christmas:

1. Chaos Theory Print by John Alan Birch (£8.00) A Giclee print from an original illustration of an Old Icey. It’s slogan reads, “Without Ice-Cream There Would Be Only Darkness and Chaos”. Brilliant.

2. Bourbon Biscuit Cushion by Myself (£30.00) Hand-Printed giant version of the biscuit-tin favourite.

3. Geometric Circle Scarf by Hilary Grant (£46.00) Super cosy lambswool circle scarf (also available in Magenta/Oatmeal or Cornflower/Coral)

4. Homework Pencil Box by Present and Correct (£24.50) Old fashioned pencil box with new-fangled laser-etched designs decorating its lid.

5. Secret Agents I Met and Liked Notebook by Archie Grand (€11.95) One of a plethora of coloured notebooks with neat round edges and Witty titles detailing different people you may meet, and like.

6. Box Pattern Leather Wallet by Backerton on Etsy (£24.42) Hand-stitched leather wallet with a nice box-inspired pattern printed on one side- I do like a bit of geometry in pattern!

I hope everyone’s enjoying the Festive season so far- stay cosy! I can’t believe it’ll be December tomorrow…argh! You can buy both Hilary Grant’s lovely scarves and my cushions at Bunty and Bella’s Boutique bash here in Dundee this Sunday.

All product images belong to those as noted above.

I love the Bourbon Biscuit Cushion! Would be perfect for the man in my life as he loves biscuits, unfortunately he is not a fan of cushions :/

@Eve- that's a shame! You never know though…his perception of cushions might change if it's biscuity!
